Q: I need a printer repaired. What information do you need?
A: In order to place a printer service request with CRL Solutions, it is helpful if you know the make and model of the printer to be serviced, and can provide a brief description of the problem you’re encountering. In addition, we require your business name (or personal name), address, and contact number.

Q: How much will it cost me to have my printer repaired?
A: As all printer makes and models are unique and present unique problems, there really is no clear answer to this question. We have a minimum charge of 1 hour per unit, plus parts, plus travel, which is negotiable depending on the distance involved. If you would like a more accurate estimate, when you call in a printer service request, we will provide you with an estimation of what it will cost to have your particular printer repaired.

Q: How long will it take to have my printer repaired?
A: Again, this is a question with no real clear answer. Typically speaking, if no parts are involved (i.e. – cleaning or removing a paper jam), our response time is same day and you’ll have your printer back in working condition on the same day. If parts are involved, it depends on the make and model of the printer. Typically, we receive parts we order on the next business day but there are some exceptions for particular makes of printers.

Q: How are your Technicians trained?
A: All Printer Repair Technicians employed by CRL Solutions are professionals in printer repair. Our Technicians have been trained by large printer manufacturers to repair a variety of their makes and models of printers.

Q: I’d like a quote for having my printers covered under a Maintenance Agreement. Can you help?
A: Absolutely. We have a variety of customers who choose to have their equipment covered under a Maintenance Agreement. Terms and condition of the agreement can be tailored to suit your needs.

Q: Do you sell consumables?
A: Yes. We stock new toner cartridges for popular printers and can order cartridges for just about any printer on the market. If you need a particular toner cartridge, please let us know via our chat agent during business hours. Alternatively, you can give us a call or send us an email and we’ll provide you with a quote.

Q: What is your service area?
A: CRL has a national footprint and service all major cities and towns in South Africa. Please give us a call and we will advise if we can assist.

Q: Can I bring a printer to you to have it repaired?
A: Yes. We accept walk-in printer repair requests at our location during normal office hours. Our office hours are from 8h00 – 17h00. Fridays 8h00 – 16h00.

Q: Can I send a unit to you for repair?
A: Yes. Please log it with our helpdesk repairs@crl.co.za and provide a detailed description of the problem and we will revert via email.
